*** NEW LOCATION: Unfortunately the Okanagan South Provincial Park has closed unexpectedly and although we anticipated this we have now been told they do not want a fire pit in the upper parking lot. We have decided to move the event to Antlers Beach Regional Park. We have been chatting with the Regional District staff and unfortunately we cannot have a wood fire but will have a propane fire pit and propane BBQ. There will be access to a pit toilet. We will get creative for a #25."
Please note that the new posted coordinates are not right either. My apologies. We will be easy to find at Antlers Beach Regional Park across the highway from Hardy Falls South of Peachland. Just south of N49 44.397 W119 45.845.
Maybe the last Community Celebration Event for 2025. Come and join us for a weiner roast. Lets plan to share our favourite cache of the year. We can also go on a hunt for a #25 for those of you that don't have GCA2025 Wheres's 25 Locationless Cache yet. Weiners, buns, condiments, marshmallows, chocolate, and graham crackers will be supplied. Bring yourself, your favourite story, maybe a lawn chair, a roasting stick (we will have a few), and a drink. Unfortunately we cannot predict the weather. Please note if there is more than 4 inches of snow the gate at the top of the Park will be closed as they do not plough the road. If so the Park Manager has offered to put a fire pit up in the top parking lot for us This parking lot will involve a little walk past the closed gate, down the main road.
