Thanks to a successful application to the Investing in Canada Infrastructure Program, federal and provincial funding WAS awarded to Howe Island,providing a multifaceted recreational hub that will serve all age groups on Howe Island. On this site you will find:

Pickleball courts
Horseshoe pitches
Half-basketball court
Pavilion with picnic tables and electrical access
Accessible children’s playground on a safe-base surface
Adult exercise equipment
Refurbished ball diamond and upgraded bleachers
Upgraded fencing throughout the park
Accessible washroom
Storage unit for supplies
Pathways connecting parking area to pavilion and playground
