This year's Christmas Caper event will be held in the Aston Tirrold and Upthorpe village hall. As in previous years, there will be new caches and people to chat to, as well as food and drink.
The hall has parking space for about 30 cars, with extra nearby if required. There is a convenient 94A bus from Didcot Parkway, departing at 10:10 and arriving at 10:44. The return options include 14:44 and 16:44, arriving at 15:07 or 17:07. Proceedings will begin late morning and go on until about three pm. There will be several new caches nearby published on the day of the event. The planned timetable is:

12:00 bring-and-share lunch
14:00 raffle
15:00 close
The hall has tea and coffee making facilities and we will provide hot soup too, if the weather warrants it. As usual, the idea for lunch is that everyone brings something for the table and we share between us all. It would help if you could mention what you plan to bring in your 'Will attend' log.
There is a fee for hiring the hall so we are holding a raffle to help towards the costs. If anyone would like to bring a prize for the raffle then that would be very much appreciated.
We plan to create a special souvenir again for those who attend the event this year. It won't appear in the souvenirs tab of your profile but you can add it manually to your public profile should you so wish
