🇭🇷 Humac je malo, povijesno selo, poznato po jedinstvenoj atmosferi i dobro očuvanoj tradicionalnoj arhitekturi. Smješteno je oko 7 kilometara sjeveroistočno od Jelse, na visoravni s koje se pruža širok pogled na okolicu i more. Selo su u 15. stoljeću osnovali pastiri i seljaci koji su ovdje pronašli utočište i plodno zemljište.
Kamene kuće u Humcu odličan su primjer tradicionalne dalmatinske gradnje, građene bez upotrebe žbuke. Selo je već desetljećima napušteno, ali ga potomci bivših stanovnika redovito posjećuju zbog proslava i događanja. Jedan od najpopularnijih događaja je proslava 26. srpnja, na imendan svete Ane, zaštitnice sela.
Humac je također polazišna točka za planinarenje do obližnje Grapčeve špilje, jedne od najvažnijih arheoloških nalazišta na otoku, u kojoj se nalaze nalazi iz neolitika. Posjetitelji mogu uroniti u povijest i tradiciju Dalmacije, uživajući u miru i netaknutoj prirodi.

Humac is a small, historic village, known for its unique atmosphere and well-preserved traditional architecture. It is located about 7 kilometers northeast of Jelsa, on a plateau with wide views over the surrounding area and the sea. The village was originally founded in the 15th century by shepherds and farmers who sought shelter and fertile land here.
The stone houses in Humac are an excellent example of traditional Dalmatian construction, built without mortar. The village has been uninhabited for decades but is regularly visited by the descendants of its former residents for festivals and events. One of the most popular events is the feast on July 26, the name day of Saint Anne, the village’s patron saint.
Humac is also a starting point for hikes to the nearby Grapčeva Cave, one of the island’s most significant archaeological sites, housing finds from the Neolithic era. Visitors can immerse themselves in the history and traditions of Dalmatia while enjoying the peace and unspoiled nature.
Although it is an abandoned village, Humac exerts a strong attraction on those who appreciate the simple life and the beauty of the Dalmatian landscape.

Jahrhundert von Hirten und Bauern gegründet, die hier Schutz und fruchtbares Land fanden.
Die Steinhäuser in Humac sind ein hervorragendes Beispiel für die traditionelle dalmatinische Bauweise, die ohne Mörtel errichtet wurde. Das Dorf ist seit Jahrzehnten unbewohnt, wird aber regelmäßig von den Nachkommen der einstigen Bewohner für Feste und Veranstaltungen besucht. Besonders beliebt ist das Fest am 26. Juli, dem Namenstag der heiligen Anna, der Schutzpatronin des Dorfes.
Humac ist auch ein Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen zur nahegelegenen Grapčeva-Höhle, einer der bedeutendsten archäologischen Stätten der Insel, die Funde aus der Jungsteinzeit beherbergt.
