The September equinox represents a moment of balance in Earth’s orbit with nearly equal amounts of daylight worldwide. As the reverse of the March equinox, it marks the start of autumn in the northern hemisphere and the start of spring in the southern hemisphere. Around the world, it’s celebrated as a time of interconnectedness, reminding us of our shared experience, regardless of hemisphere.
Whether you will celebrate an autumn or spring equinox this month, plan to include geocaching in your celebrations to earn a souvenir! Geocaching HQ created a souvenir for geocachers to celebrate the September equinox. To earn this souvenir, geocachers must find a total of 3 geocaches, Event Caches, and/or Adventure Lab® Locations between September 22–28, 2024.
We shall gather at Cancun Mexican restaurant at Cedar Bluff from 6-8 pm. Join us for food, fellowship, and fun!
No purchase required if you just wanna hang out and commune. All are welcome and we look forward to spilling ink with you.
Cache ya there!
