This cache is part of a small series that chronicles the History of Corf Campsite and the super heroes who made it happen along with some stories or memories that have passed down through the generations. I have set them up as a small circular walk, approximately 6.5km, around the local area from Newtown to Shalfleet. This cache has been placed with the kind permission of the National Trust.
The Jawbone Trophy was made from a Jawbone dug up at Corf, cleaned and mounted in a case. It is awarded for the Best County Scout Camp Stunt or Sketch and to this day is a prozed procession for the group who is lucky enough to win it!
