My dad, Daniel David Skrzypchak, or "Muffler Man" as he was known from his days at GMC. He wasn't always there for me, early fatherhood brought challenges, and his struggle with alcohol created distance between us, he found a program down in Brighton, Michigan, and went on to live a short but honest life, embracing his love for Hunting, fishing and metal detecting. I'll always cherush the memory of him actully leting me hold the "carrot tool," yet I never actually knew what it was called. We never got to geocaching together- I only got into it when he passed- but I know we would have shared the passion. He left me his GPS, AirPods, and a heart full of memories and i'd trade them all to see his laugh and share one more adventure. This geocache is dedicated to him, my dad the Muffler Man with a heart of gold.
