Searching for geocaches with a high number of Favorite Points can add an exciting dimension to any road trip. These highly rated caches are often well crafted or placed in unique, scenic locations, becoming memorable highlights along your route. Certain cache types may stand out, whether it’s an EarthCache at a geological wonder, a rare Webcam cache, or a Wherigo that offers a unique tour of the area.
To qualify for this challenge, you must accumulate a combined total of 15,000 or more favorite points. However, only the cache with the highest number of Favorite Points from each cache type you've found will count. The eligible cache types include Traditional, Multi, Mystery, Locationless, Letterbox, Wherigo, Webcam, Virtual, EarthCache, and Project APE caches. You don’t need to find every cache type, but only the highest-favorited cache from each type you’ve found will contribute to your total. All previous finds count.
For example, if the Traditional cache with the highest number of favorite points that you've found has 5,000 favorite points, and the highest favorited multi has 4,000, and the highest favorited puzzle has 4,000, and the highest favorited webcam has 2,000, then you would qualify since the sum is equal to (or exceeds) 15,000. You can use any cache types you want, as long as the sum of the most favorited cache adds up to at least 15,000 favorite points.
