West Runton Beach Clean CITO
When: 17th November 2024
Time: 9:45 am for a saftey briefing
Start 10am - 10:45 am
Where: Seaview Car Park (Parking Charges £4) , Water Lane,West Runton NR27 9QP
Alternative Parking : A few spaces within the Village along Station Road, Cromer Road and Links Way (15 minutes walk away)
This event is held in conjunction with Norfolk Beach Cleans so there will be non cachers present.
The beach clean starts at 10am but there is saftey briefing before so I have added the start time as 9:45. Please arrive at this time so the log can be signed prior to the start of the beach clean
What to bring
There will be equipment to borrow but do bring your own litter pickers if you have them, along with some protective gloves and anything else you'll need throughout the beach clean (ie drink/snacks, hand sanitiser etc)
What to wear
Its important to wear protective gloves and appropriate footwear. You may need a coat and woolly hat depending on the weather
Where to put the Rubbish
This will be decided on the day and explained in the briefing. At the end of the event the beach clean organiser will weigh the rubbish collected and post on social media
Please post a 'will attend' if you are thinking of coming so I know how any to expect.

The Geocaching Association of Great Britain (GAGB)
The GAGB will be running the second of their CITO weeks between
Saturday 26th October 2024 to Friday 1st November 2024.
This year, two GAGB profile badges are up for grabs - one for organisers, and another for attendees. In addition, the CITO Weeks fall within Geocaching.com's own CITO souvenir season, which runs between 1st September - 30th November.
