When two houses came up for sale in 1995, residents rallied to create this “pocket” park—officially established in 1996 and lovingly maintained ever since in partnership with the Council.
Wander through raised beds and fruit trees: pears, apples, plums, peaches, figs, grapes, feijoas, and more. Depending on the season, you might not leave hungry!

Collect numbers as you explore and discover the cache! Have a chat with the volunteers, give a hand on a working bee or just enjoy and spend some good time.
Summer 2025-2026 working bees: Mondays and Thursdays 4pm to 6pm.
Depending on the weather, time of day and year the garden could be empty or buzzing with activity, weeday mornings are quieter. Afternoons see kids around, working bees, volunteers and events (twice a year) many people.Check the FB page if you want to be sure there is few people around.
