This cache is located right at the Burnie basalt columns. You won't find any other geological formation like this anywhere near the city; it's amazing that they've been preserved so well! If you want more info about the columns, definitely check out the nearby EarthCache (GC7FDKQ).
In my opinion, this area provides a nice contrast to the rows and rows of buildings of the rest of the city, it's a very visually pleasing spot! The apartment complex fits the area well, built on top of the columns. There is also a man-made waterfall, and a public garden down below. Finally, at the top of the staircase, there is a lovely view of the sea and beachfront, as well as a new hotel, a cinema, and multiple food options in and around Columnar Court.
As you will see when you get there, this cache will require a thorough search of a very large area. There's honestly a massive number of places it could be, and it is well hidden. It's definitely my hardest hide yet, so don't expect a quick find. Good luck!
While searching for the cache, keep in mind that you may look suspicious to the many muggles who walk past, as well as to people in the nearby apartments, so be stealthy! Also, please replace the cache exactly where you found it, or it could be in plain sight!
