Geocache Description:

INT - Halloween Costume River Float

** Costumes Optional - Highly encouraged

*** Costume & Door prizes ***

~~~ Event Time: 8:00am-9:00am ~~~
DATE: SATURDAY, October 26th
*** INT - International. These events have become an international affair. Let's welcome our Canadian friends and anyone else outside our region ***
Let's enjoy a weekend kayak paddle, CITO clean up, fellowship and search some high terrain geocaches. May also be some new land caches in the surrounding areas.
*** CITO PURPOSE: Standard trash/debris clean up with river float to follow. May want to bring your grabber tools. I will have rubber gloves available & plastic bags. We will be cleaning up the launch site, parking areas and any other applicable areas nearby a geocacher can find/reach some litter. The reason and purpose of this event is trash/debris clean up so we will make sure that is done before we float the river. Together we can improve the environment we all love so much!
You don't have to kayak or go down the river to attend the CITO event. I do highly recommend Kayaking with the group if you havent before. Leave a comment if you are in need of a kayak and perhaps a fellow cacher has an extra!
**** Late October Outdoor Event: Plan accordingly. We may have 70s and sunny. We may have 50s and rain. Or 30s and snowflakes. Drinks, snacks, proper clothing, footwear, rain gear, blanket(in kayak) etc... This event is an all weather event unless it becomes hazardous or dangerous(ex: Lightning).
Hope to see you there!!!
Kayaking Details below:
