Crafty Community Celebration Event
Saturday, December 13, 2025 from 1 - 3 PM
Tom & Jerry's 1670 DeKalb Ave., Sycamore, Illinis (We will meet in the back.)
Crafts and geocaching may not seem like they go together; however, I will show you a couple easy ways to combine the two.
1:15 - 1:45 PM - LITTLE FREE LIBRARIES (LFL) are all over our communities. After a recent geo-trip to Atlanta, GA, I've been turning some local LFLs into large geocaches. I'll have all the supplies necessary for you to make a library card and "logsheet" or two for your next large cache that needs very little maintenance and is readily accessible.
2:00 - 2:45 PM - TRACKABLES are a cool part of geocaching. The frustrating part of trackables is that they get lost. We will resurrect your lost or archived trackables so they can be sent back out into the geocaching world again! You will need to bring the six digit trackable number. If you have a picture of the original trackable, please print it out and bring it. I will have my laminator on site to complete your "new" trackable.
2:45 - 3 PM - sharing of some highlights of this year's geocaching trips and adventures.
