Geocache Description:

Bulahdelah's Big Bass was carved by local craftsmen from a single piece of Brush Box. This icon of the town was presented to Bulahdelah in 2006. The Bass Bash is an annual fishing competition run by the Bulahdelah Fishing Club. Held on the second weekend in February every year with prizes for the best catches. Funds raised aid restocking of the Myall River with bass.

Bulahdelah now has a second bass, not as big though! To find it, visit the Big Bass at the published coordinates, then go for Bulahdelah's other bass.

There are some plaques at Bulahdelah's Big Bass.
To work out the coordinates for the cache, you will need some info from them.
The cache can then be found at S32 24.(A-1)(B+1)D E152 12.(B-2)BC
Where:
A= the month number when Roads and Maritime Services thanked the Great Lakes Council and community.
B= the sum of the individual digits in the year referred to in (A) above.
C= the last digit in the year of 'Bulahdelah's Big Bass'.
D= the month number of 'Bulahdelah's Big Bass'.
Checksum - S27 E27

To find Bulahdelah's 2nd bass, you will need your tree-fishing gear. A 7m pole will be plenty. You can drive right to GZ, preferably with a 4WD/AWD.
