Who loves a good holiday movie? Who loves a good homemade cookie or even store bought? I think we all do in some way, shape, or form. Todays event will have us get together to watch the worlds greatest christmas move "A Christmas Storie". There will allso be an optional cookie exchange taking place at todays event. Being invalved in the cookie exchange isn't required to attend the event but there will be a few rules just to be fair to the folks who do/did bring cookies. We will provide the coffee and since we want you to "Be Sure To Drink Your Ovaltine" we will provide it also. The event runs from 12p.m.- 3p.m. with the movie starting at 12:30p.m. Entrance to the dining hall is in the back where the parking lot is located.
If possible, please bring a dozen cookies to share during the movie. We will also be having an optional cookie exchange right after the movie. If you wish to participate, bring 2 dozen cookies in addition to the dozen you are sharing. They will be put out on a table after the movie and you can go around and pick out 2 dozen cookies of all different types to take home. We'll supply baggies for the cookies you pick out or you can bring your own container. Once the cookie exchange participants have picked out their 2 dozen cookies, any leftovers from the day will be available for anyone to take home whether you brought cookies to the exchange or not.
