Nidri Waterfall, also known as Dimossari Waterfall, is located in the gorge of Dimossari, about 3 km above the village of Nydri on Lefkada. The watercourse originates as a small trickle in the mountainous region of the island and has a length of about 4 kilometers until it flows into the sea.
Although it is not particularly spectacular, it is embedded in beautiful nature and offers a pleasant cooling off - as long as it is not dried out during the summer or even autumn months.
The waterfall is a popular destination for visitors, not only because of its natural beauty, but also because of the impressive landscapes that surrounds it. A small parking lot and a tavern offer a welcome break before exploring the waterfall.
It is is easily accessible and can be reached by foot. A short trail with a slight incline takes you there.
The waterfalls are particularly impressive after rainfall and offer a refreshing experience.
