CITO 2024 : Season 2
Attend a CITO between 1st September - 30th November to gain the souvenir
🌿 ODD JOB MORNING AT GREEN LANE RESERVE 🌿
This CITO event is set to last for 3 hours and some attendees like to stay for the entire session, however this is not an obligation.
Please feel free to turn up whenever is convenient and just stay as long as you wish.
Parking: There is some on street parking on Laxton Road (or in many of the other side streets nearby).
Where: We will meet up on Laxton Road near the footpath sign that leads down to Green Lane Reserve for 09:30 (see reference point), or after that find us in the Reserve (near CITO event coords).
What: During this CITO session we will be either raking cut grass and planting wildflower plug plants, or clearing encroaching scrub from the footpaths. The activity will be decided nearer the time according to what work has been carried out previously and I will post an update on the cache page before the event.
How: The Countryside Ranger will be there providing guidance. We ask you to bring your own work gloves, tools will be provided.
Health and Safety: The session and will be covered by Council insurance as long as you are working under the Countryside Ranger's instruction.
Please bring a drink for breaktime. Homemade cake will be provided 🙂
