Welcome to the Puzzle Cache series! I was inspired by some caches I found in New York that required cachers to solve a puzzle or riddle in order to gain access to the cache log. This puzzle cache contains a 3D printed 4 Fs puzzle. The goal of the cache is to solve the puzzle to get a four digit combination that opens the lock on the treasure chest, gaining you access to the cache log inside. When you are done with the cache, please place the log back inside the treasure chest and lock it so that the next cachers can have a fun time with the puzzle! Also, please return all the pieces of the puzzle to the birdhouse, as well. I hope you enjoy!
To find the solution of the puzzle, the F puzzle pieces must be laying down inside the frame. They can be oriented in the standard 'F' or backwards 'ꟻ', and rotated CW and CCW. You will know you have the solution when all four pieces are laying flat within the frame and only four digits are visible. These digits are the solution to the lock, and are read left to right and put into the lock from top to bottom on the side of the lock.
