It's time to celebrate 25 years of geocaching!!!!!
Although the game has changed a lot since we first began geocaching, one thing has remained a constant. We love finding geocaches! And to find geocaches, someone has to hide geocaches. We have found ourselves with good intentions of making various cache containers and somehow we don't get around to it. If you are like us and keep procrastinating putting together some containers to hide, this event is for you! Bring your supplies, your creative ideas and your tools of the container making trade and spend a couple of hours getting some of those containers put together. If you have an idea that you need some help bringing to life, there will be some creative types (not us!
) to help you out. If you have some supplies you no longer need, bring them along and maybe someone else can use them. If you are a new geocacher, come get some ideas on making containers, even if you don't have any supplies yet yourself.
We'll provide some water, snacks and maybe even some door prizes. We may even play a few games. We'll post updates as the event get closer to let everyone know what supplies we'll have on hand.
We'll meet in pavilion #1 in Murray Park.
Working on creating cache containers is completely optional at this event and you are welcome to just come hang out and socialize.
Two other events being held the same day:
CITO
Frozen Treats for Dinner
