Join us for a few hours in ogden park to celebrate 25 years of geocaching! You can meet us at the picnic shelter at ground zero where most event activities will be taking place.

We will have snacks, prizes, newly published caches and more!

There will be a competition for best cache story from these wonderful 25 years, and whoevers is best wins the door prize! This will be a nice event with tons of activities.

During the event a 25th birthday of geocaching cake will be cut open!

There will be lots of games on site. Heres some: Ammo can toss, (A competition to toss the ammo can as far as possible), Bean bag toss to win geo-prizes, and some other games.

You can look forward to the over 30 trackable items to discover!

Following the event there will be a CITO near the recycling center in the back of the park. Lots of trash around so it should be good.

There will also be a "25" geoart that is made up of 125 caches published on May 3rd, of course themed around blue switch day. Attend the event at this shelter on May 3rd to commemorate the art release and top 3 cachers with most FTFs on the trail are in the running for an FTF micro coin awarded at this CCE.

May 2nd is blue switch day. On this day in the year 2000 the US government pulled the 'big blue switch' legallizing GPS data to the public. The next day (May 3rd) geocaching was born. By coming to, and logging this event you will get the CCE souvenir if you have not already, by coming to the May 3rd event, you will get the blue switch day souvenir.
