The trail is a nice smooth walk, will have to leave trail to find cache.
"Mels" Madness is located in the Gator Park Reserve in Polk County. The park is on US 98 about 6 mi N of I-4. This is the second cache in this park. The park is open daily and there is no fee to enter. From the parking lot head East on paved trail. Turn left on Piney Loop. From there you are on your own. The cache is a white tupperware container with light green lid. It is wide and long but only 2 inches deep, so keep that in mind when bringing goodies. The cache is hidden under some palmettos and is covered with some palmetto leaves, please rehide well. The original contents are some puzzle books, kids books,batteries,American flag hat pin, a small knife, several matchbox type cars, and a couple of "seasonal" prizes for the ladies.
