Port Eagleeye, figgy30 and I decided to check out the new Quay to Quay walkway today and we were very impressed. The trail was very well used on this dry fall day by walkers, bikers and dog walkers. As a bonus, we were also able to get the FTF on the new Adventure Lab. All in all we placed over a dozen caches today. There has been a lot of controversy over this new walkway, but I commend the city of Port Alberni for building it. Although it doesn't always follow the water, it meanders through the forest and along the river as well as showing the history of the waterfront. I also enjoyed the viewing areas and the rest stops along the way.
