St. Mary's Church has two church yards, the upper churchyard and the lower churchyard. The churchyards have a few too many brambles growing, and one of our tasks will be to cut these down and remove them as best we can. If you would prefer to concentrate on uncovering or tidying a particular grave, then you are also welcome to do this. There are also saplings to remove and other general tasks, like bulb planting.
Please bring secateurs, scythes, loppers and gloves with you and any other useful tools with you! There is still plenty to do if you do not have your own tools too.
There are toilets at the church we can use, and we can also shelter in the office should it rain.
