The Canadian Pacific Holiday Train (CPKC) is a festive decorated holiday train that travels across Canada and the United States during the holiday season to raise money and awareness for food banks. The train features a brightly decorated stage where professional musicians perform holiday-themed songs and is usually memorable for all who see it.
The train usually arrives in this area around 9.15p-9.45pm depending on when it leaves Windsor, Ontario.
Everyone is welcome to come and sit and wait for the spectacle of the Holiday Train, however, the Event will not last that long.

Wauwatosa, Wisconsin - 2017
The CP Holiday Train will again raise money, food and awareness for local food banks in communities along the CP network, but the stop here will not be an "official" one. Since 1999, the CP Holiday Train has raised money and food for North American food banks.
The Holiday Train Tours have featured free concerts across both Canada and the United States, and encourage folks to donate to their local food banks when possible.
There are many spots along the Train's route that it can be viewed, but this is usually its first (unofficial) stop once it comes into the United States.
You can still view the Holiday Train as it rolls down the railway through a portion of Melvindale, Allen Park, Taylor and Romulus, but the kids usually are sleeping by the time the train gets there (estimated between 11.00pm and 12midnight).
Please note that anyone who plans to attend that they should remain cautious and stay at least 50 feet away from the railway tracks, as there will be freight trains running that night and they could come from any direction, at any time.
We will gather and enjoy some time with fellow Geocachers and their families for at least 60 minutes, then grab a spot to wait for the train to arrive.
Please dress warmly and bring warm things to drink, if you'd like, to keep yourselves warm as the temps usually are typical for late-fall in SouthEastern Michigan...which usually is around +40F.
Please come visit and enjoy this family-friendly fun for kids of all ages.

We look forward to seeing you there!
Happy Holidays!
