Il villaggio rurale di San Simone, costituito da una trentina di casette costruite in paglia e fango (le Lolle) e un pozzo, è un luogo di grande fascino dove il tempo sembra essersi fermato.
L’insediamento, oggi disabitato, è conosciuto anche col nome "de is Nuraxis" perché sorge sopra le rovine di un complesso nuragico (chiamato su Nuraximannu) dove fu eretta l’omonima chiesetta dedicata al Santo guerriero. Una volta l’anno il villaggio torna a vivere durante la Festa di San Simone, solitamente nel fine settimana successivo alla domenica di Pentecoste.
Il cancello per accedere al villaggio è sempre aperto.
The rural village of San Simone, consisting of about 30 small houses built of straw and mud (the Lolle) and a well, is a charming place where time seems to stand still.
The settlement, now uninhabited, is also known by the name “de is Nuraxis” because it stands over the ruins of a Nuragic complex (called su Nuraximannu) where the small church of the same name dedicated to the warrior saint was erected. Once a year the village comes back to life during the Feast of Saint Simon, usually on the weekend following Pentecost Sunday.
The gate to enter into the village is always open.

• Per avere diritto al Geocoin è necessario avere fatto il log fisico e avere registrato il ritrovamento su www.geocaching.com.
• Se trovi tutte le 50 caches dell'ArcheoGeotour riceverai il Souvenir.
• Puoi ritirare il Geocoin presso uno degli InfoPoint dell'ArcheoGeotour sotto indicati, mostrando il Passaporto compilato per almeno 40 geocaches.
• The first 300 geocachers which will log at least 40 out 50 geocaches of the ArcheoGeotour and will fill the related boxes on the Passport are elegible to receive the ArcheoGeotour Geocoin, trackable at www.geocaching.com.
• Only 1 Geocoin may be awarded for family/group.
