Nel territorio di Seulo, all’interno della foresta di Addolì si trovano le grotte Domus de Janas (casa delle fate) che, secondo le rilevazioni effettuate durante gli scavi archeologici, sono state utilizzate da tempi preistorici come rifugio e luogo di culto. Le grotte sono costituite da tre rami di cui il più ampio, che si sviluppa per 108 metri, è accessibile e messo in sicurezza per consentire la visita. Ti immergerai in uno scenario affascinante e misterioso, con le imponenti stalattiti e stalagmiti tra cui si possono intravvedere coleotteri, millepiedi, geotritoni e pipistrelli.
Le coordinate del listing indicano l'ingresso delle grotte: per arrivare alla cache devi entrare e percorrere la passerella metallica fino in fondo per circa 100 metri. La cache si trova al termine della passerella, in basso a sinistra.
Le grotte sono accessibili tutti i giorni dalle 10.30 alle 12.30 e dalle 16.30 alle 18.30 (nel caso non ci sia nessuno chiamare il numero + 39 328 4979486) e il costo del biglietto è 6€, per bambini fino a 12 anni 4€. Si consiglia di prenotare in anticipo la visita.
In the territory of Seulo, in the Addolì forest there are the Domus de Janas (house of the fairies) caves which, according to the findings carried out during archaeological excavations, have been used since prehistoric times as a refuge and place of worship. The caves are made up of three branches. The largest one extends for 108 metres and is safely accessible for the visits. You will immerse yourself in a fascinating and mysterious scenario, with the imposing stalactites and stalagmites among which you can glimpse beetles, millipedes, geotritons and bats.
The coordinates of the listing indicate the entrance to the caves: to reach the cache you have to enter and walk along the metal walkway to the end for about 100 metres. The cache is located at the end of the walkway, at the bottom on the left.
The caves are accessible every day from 10.30am to 12.30pm and from 4.30pm to 6.30pm (if there is no one there call the number + 39 328 4979486) and the ticket price is 6€, for children till 12 years old 4€. We suggest you to book in advance the visit.
