Consolation Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

MikieP: [:(]Archiving is always a sad occasion, but sometimes it is the best thing. I'm saying goodbye to this old friend for many reasons, including the fact that the reason for this cache is long gone, the snake that lives in the area, the particular type of container I used, which in these slightly paranoid days could easily be mistaken for a pipe bomb, and because I no longer live in this general area and maintenence has become an issue.
So adios amigo!

Geocache Description:

Having a little trouble finding Jeo's Moles Hide Out? I know it frustrated me. Or maybe you need encouragement to come to this park? Well, here is some Consolation for you if Moles has you stumped, or take it as an invitation to come and find both of them.

I normally would not even consider hiding a cache this close to someone else's cache, but Moles was so frustrating that I wanted to offer a sort of consolation prize for those who share my frustration. It is very near; the posted coordinates of the two caches are within 100 feet of each other. But just about everything about this cache is different from Moles Hide Out.

If a Micro Cache is defined as the size of a 35mm film cannister, then this cache is a micro times five. There is room for a pen and a very small GeoCache Letter and Log Book combo, plus some very small trinkets. The opening is the size of a film cannister opening, so make it a log only cache or plan your swap small.

Reception in this area of the park is spotty at best, but these coordinates are the result of a two minute average on a GPS V with between 11 and 13 foot accuracy. If and when I figure out a way to get better coordinates I will modify this page, and until then, Good Luck and Have Fun!

March 9, 2003 +++ Added a second Log Book with lots of pages, so Come On Down!
