Adding to my recent series of mystery caches themed around solved Internet mysteries, the Backrooms are a fictional location based on a thread from the website 4Chan. The image below was used to portray Backrooms as an expanse of empty rooms that can be used to question one's sanity or "clip out" of reality. These rooms have been the setting for short horror videos where the protagonist is chased by monsters in the endless void of these rooms.
Despite the amount of content created around the rooms, no one really knew where the original Backrooms photo originated from or if it was even real.
After years of searching, the original Backrooms photo was at last tracked down by sly Internet sleuths. It was taken during renovations for a store around the year 2003 and the present location no longer resembles the original photo. Little did the uploader of this photo know how famous it would become nearly twenty years later!
To obtain the cache coordinates, input the name of the Wisconsin city where this photo originated from. Doing so will reveal the cache coordinates and hint. Please rehide as found.
