Do you have a place that is a core memory? A place where you visit and envision memories of the past?
This is one of those places for me, as I spent a lot of time around this dam with friends during my teenage years. This route also served as our primary biking route to Alloway via waterworks rd. Those woods to the west served as our hangout spot for many summers, we even built a bridge to cross the creek in the woods at one point, but that's long gone. This also served as a spot to fish back then, although we never caught anything.
Down below are some photos I captured in 2011 after some heavy rainfalls. At times, the water will rush over the bridge if it rains hard enough for an extended period of time.
