It's starting to look a little like Christmas....
Join us for a little festivity. Monday 16th December, 6:30pm to 8:30pm at the Kingfisher, Greenfield.

Mr. Potato Head, Beanie Babies, Pet Rock, and Tamagotchis — we all had our fair share of stupid childhood toys. It is comical to think about their purpose now, but we are all guilty of playing with them each night till our eyes gave out. Stupid Toy Day is more than just a day of remembrance for toys. It is an ode to the idiosyncrasies of our childhood and how the stuff that now seems stupid to us was once something we guarded with our lives. Climb up the attic and look for that stupid toy as we celebrate the harmless frolic of our childhood on this fun holiday.
Yes! You'll be thrilled to know that today is National Toy Day and we thought it might bring an interesting dimension to the event to celebrate it. The official blurb is above - so if you have a toy from the past you'd like to bring out of the archives please bring it along to the event, we'll have a group photo of all the toys and there will be a star prize for the best (or stupidest) entry to our stupid toy competion. Or if you don't have an old one, bring along a new one!
Aside from our toy time, we will be enjoying the usual Christmas Festivities. And don't worry, if you are more of a Scrooge, you are welcome to come along and tell us how awful Christmas is, but be warned, you may be cheered up! And of course a bit of caching chatter.

Please note, the Kingfisher pub does operate a pay and display car park. If using their car park, you need to pay but will be fully refunded against any purchase in the pub. However, as with all events, you are not obliged to spend money to attend, so a waypoint has been provided for free street parking very closeby.
A representative of the Huddersfield Canal Cachers will be present at the event if you would like to discuss working with us to expand the series.
