Geocache Description:

PDue to a scheduling conflict, the event date has been changed from December 31, 2025, to December 28, 2025. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Will this be your last Community Celebration Event of the year...or not?

I hosted my first Community Celebration Event in 2022 (GC8HKMN). At that time, I contemplated and waited until the very last minute to plan and host it.

One unique thing about me? I excel at learning absolutely nothing from experience. So this year, I contemplated and waited until nearly the last minute to plan it (again). And since I’ve come this far… why not host it on the very last month I’m allowed to (again), right? Consistency is key. 😉

When:

Sunday, December 28, 2025

12:30 pm – 2:30 pm

Where:

Cordata Park Pavilion

The pavilion has indoor restrooms, water, electricity, a kitchen, microwave, and refrigerator.

Who:

Everyone is welcome! Seasoned Geocachers, new geocachers, friends, family, etc.

What:

We will be celebrating all things geocaching—and the final month of 2025!

I've got a tons of prizes to give away (with light show and music), and the prize drawing will start around 1:45 pm. If you attended the prequel event in 2022, you might remember that even an unborn baby won a prize. He is 2 years old now and still hasn't thank me. 🤣 But the rumor has it he's already geocaching...clearly a prodigy!

I will be bringing:

  • Two pots of Japanese curry (chicken/vegetable and tofu/vegetable)
  • Naan bread
  • Green tea + electric kettle
  • Utensils, plates, and cups

Please feel free to bring side dishes, drinks (note: no alcohol allowed in the building), desserts, snacks, etc. When logging your “Will Attend,” please include the number of people in your group and mention any food/snack items you plan to bring. If you are unable or prefer not to bring anything, your smile and good attitude are more than enough. 😊

Doors open 30 minutes before the event starts. If you arrive early—you will be put to work. If you stay late—you will be put to work. 😆

Announcement: Great news for event lovers! Two additional events in the area have been scheduled on the same day since I published mine. The first is LizzyRN’s Community Celebratiom Event/CITO (GCB1Y0N – CITO Larrabee 2025 Community Celebration Event) from 8:30 am to 10:30 am. Enjoy the outdoors (with shelter available if needed) along with morning snacks and drinks. Afterward, you can cache around the area and then stop by my event for curry, snacks, and a prize giveaway. Keep caching in the afternoon, and later join twlare’s annual holiday musical light show (GCBFEDE – twlare’s holiday lights, 2025 edition) from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm, complete with cookies and cocoa. It’s shaping up to be a really fun day!
