What is GIFF?

From finding new favorite places, people, and puzzles, geocaching is full of moments that should be captured on film and shared with the global geocaching community. The Geocaching International Film Festival is a place for geocachers to showcase their talents and put their creativity to the test.

This year’s GIFF theme is “TFTC—Thanks For The Community!”

GIFF Event is your chance to watch the entire reel of the finalist films from the 2025 Geocaching International Film Festival. On November 6-16 only, geocachers will host geocaching events at which these films will be shown publicly for the first time. So pop your popcorn, get out your coziest blankets, and get ready—it’s a global geocaching movie night!
