The 85-acre Two Mile Run Park is the largest and most popular park in Brighton Township, Beaver County. Nestled next to a brook in a leafy, quiet retreat, with plenty of free parking. At a reasonable charge, residents use the park’s Shultz Lodge for graduation and retirement parties, wedding showers and receptions, birthday gatherings, business meetings and family reunions. When you rent these facilities, they are yours to use for the entire day. Pets are not permitted.
There has been a large scale project over the last few years to establish several trails through the woods south of the shelters. The trails are done! They just needed a few geocaches to complete the experience. This one is part of a series that will hopefully bring many new visitors to this park.
The new trails are clearly marked with signs marking them as "Easy" or "Difficult". I find it funny how they are opposite sides of many of the same poles. This one is hidden near the top of a hill heading from the parking lot. Not too far for younger geocachers. Hopefully this will be a nice "kid friendly" find.
