Did you know that the 21st January 2025 is National Hugging Day? Well, it also happens to be National Squirrel Appreciation Day - but can we celebrate both? Of course we can! How about merging both days into one and making it National Hug a Squirrel Day?
Now hugging a real squirrel is not recommended - unless you fancy being scratched and bitten all over! So, there will be a small cuddy squirrel in attendance to hug at your leisure, though you can still talk appreciatively about squirrels, or better yet, hug a person instead! I love a good hug, though it's only optional after all!
In any case, I’ve decided to host a small local event at the Shay Wake pub in Shaw north of Oldham, which is a chance to catch up and enjoy a simple meet and greet, with some grub available to order, so hopefully see you there!
