Yogi Bear
This quick-witted and crafty character, first introduced by Hanna-Barbera in the 1950s, is known for his uncanny ability to outsmart park rangers in his quest for "pic-a-nic baskets". Yogi's mischievous antics and charming personality captured the hearts of viewers, making him an enduring symbol of American animation. With his iconic green tie and comical catchphrases, Yogi Bear remains a beloved figure in children's entertainment. Like many Hanna-Barbera characters, Yogi's personality and mannerisms were based on a popular celebrity of the time. Art Carney's Ed Norton character on The Honeymooners was said to be Yogi's inspiration; his voice mannerisms broadly mimic Carney as Norton. The plot of most of Yogi's cartoons centered on his antics in Jellystone Park. Yogi, accompanied by his constant companion Boo-Boo Bear, would often try to steal picnic baskets from campers in the park, much to the displeasure of Park Ranger Smith. Yogi's girlfriend, Cindy Bear, sometimes appeared and usually disapproved of Yogi's antics.

Boo Boo
The diminutive and level-headed sidekick to Yogi Bear, Boo Boo often plays the voice of reason against Yogi's mischief. Despite his cautionary stance, Boo Boo remains loyal to his friend and tags along on their wild adventures. This small bear with a big heart and his iconic red bowtie make him an enduring and loved character in children's television. Boo-Boo Bear is an anthropomorphic bear and Yogi's best friend. Boo-Boo likes to do the right thing, often acting as Yogi's conscience. He tries (usually unsuccessfully) to keep Yogi from doing things he should not do, and also to keep Yogi from getting into trouble with Ranger Smith. Often, he would say say, "But Yogi, Mr. Ranger isn't gonna like this," or some variation.
