High in the hills above Henderson sits a lone tower. A sign
claims ownership by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM). What the
tower is used for I don’t know, but we’ll assume it’s for
communication.
There is no easy way to get there. But if you make it, look for
a medium sized ammo can well hidden under a pile of rocks (just
like the rest of the mountain!).
Use caution when hiking off-trail in the desert. Watch out for
steep slopes, loose rocks, and possible rattlesnakes. Bring plenty
of water.
