This is another cache located along the Buzzard Loop Trail at the Buzzard's Roost hiking and biking area. There are a multitude of caches along this loop that are before and after this cache. There are also other caches that are nearby, just not on this trail. It's a great hiking area to enjoy in all seasons. The trail is a mix of packed dirt and rocky trail areas. There is a bit of a hike to get to this cache, although it's not a difficult trek, just a bit lengthy. The length of your hike will be dependent on your approach. There is more than one way to get to it! Close to GZ (before or after, dependent on the direction of travel), there is a great overlook along the south cliff rim with some stellar views! It's a great place to stop for a break or some lunch. If you have smaller children, be sure to keep them away from the cliff's edge for their safety. This cache, though, is not near any cliff areas if you remain on the main path. I hike this loop often and enjoy the solitude here! I hope you will as well.
You are looking for a preform tube with a logsheet only. BYOP. It should be an easy find. I averaged coordinates and at GZ I was 9 ft away from GZ. The terrain rating for this cache is due to the length of the hike and the rocky terrain in places. Please replace and re-camo as found. The cache name should give you a hint!
