The sixth BBOx event that combines two of my greatest passions in life - Geocaching and Beer. The details of the event are
When: Saturday 1st March 2025 - 15:00 - 16:30 (or until the last person / the last train home leaves!)
Where: Windsor & Eton Brewery & Unit 4 Taproom, 1-4 Vansittart Estate, Duke St, Windsor SL4 1SE
What: Talking all things caching, eating, drinking and being merry! Exchanging and moving of trackables. All welcome from newbies to the experienced cachers. Children and dogs are also welcome at the taproom. In addition to the to-be-expected selection of beer, the tapyard also serves wines, spirits, cocktails and a selection of non-alcoholic drinks including tea and coffee. There is also food available at the brewery (a menu can be found on their website).
Why: Because it is fun with all the friendly cachers in the area!
Transport information:
There is some parking outside the brewery but there are also a few pay and display car parks nearby (the Leisure Centre appears to be the cheapest paid option). I have also added waypoints for the local railway stations. Additionally, Windsor is quite well served by bus routes from nearby towns.
