This is the sixty seventh in a series of midweek regular meets in the centre of Leeds. Sam539, Matthewgibbs and I have decided to try and get a regular event off the ground. This is an informal get together of gecachers to chat about all things caching and not.
The event will be at The Cross Keys, 107 Water Lane, Leeds LS11 5WD from 18:30 to 20:30, but I'm sure a few people will stay longer than that. We're a friendly bunch, so cachers old and new are welcome. If you haven't been to an event before, drop me a message beforehand and I'll look out for you. Hopefully we'll be obvious to find.
How to get there:
By train - Leeds railway station is about a 5 minute walk from the venue, when using the south entrance.
By bus - Leeds City Bus Station is a 15 minute walk away. Many busses also stop nearby on Neville Street, New Station Street and Infirmary Street, all of which are a short walk from the venue.
By car - There are a number of streets within 5 or 10 minutes walk of the venue to the south and west with free parking after 18:00 (David Street, Water Lane, Marshall Street, Manor Road to name a few). The closest multi storey is probably Trinity Leeds, which is £4.00 after 17:00 and around a 10 minute walk away.
The venue offers food (served until 21:00) and drink, including beers on tap. The online menu is not currently up to date, so I have requested an updated on. I will add it to the listing once I get it. Well behaved dogs and children are welcome. The venue does have a beer garden, however this area cannot be booked in advance. We can always migrate there if the weather is nice and it is not full.
I look forward to seeing you there!
