Geocache Description:

Nearly a century before Lakewood became Lakewood, the first homes in the city’s Eiber neighborhood went up.

Local farmers grew sugar beets, apples and corn and raised chickens for transport to the growing Denver market, using the former Smith trolley station at Garrison Street and 13th Avenue as a drop-off point for their produce.

At this location your line of site to lite rail and might hear a horse or two calling for breakfast.

Parking on East side of Garrison street, beware of busy Garrison traffic.

Bring your own writing utensil and TOTT.
