How Geocaching Works

Geocache Description:

Join me at Stagecoach Park next to the Olathe Community Center
for a unique TREE CLIMBING event.
There will be plenty of time for conversation and to plan your positioning to display the photographic proof of your unique arboreal skills.

In addition, there are also several caches in the park to find, a Santa Fe Trail GeoTour stop and Stagecoach museum nearby.

Some treats will be provided.

At 4:00 pm we will gather for a photo at the posted coordinates. Although not official but in the spirit of the event theme and to earn the terrain rating, the requirement for the photo and to log the event is to be connected to the tree and not touch the ground with your feet or knees. (Shoes, Clothing & Snow do NOT count.)

There are severals ways this can be accomplished. Creative Topiary Tools Of The Trade such as being cradled like a baby by a muggle are acceptable.
