Geocache Description:

Spokane's First Geocache "Comstock Minicache" Tribute

This cache involves a short walk through the grass of Comstock Park, one of the nice neighborhood parks on Spokane's South Hill.

The container for this cache is a nano. The cache is hidden out of sight on the fence. There is no room for much of anything in the cache, so keep this in mind when visiting, and BYOP.

The cache has been moved slightly from where Comstock Minicache GC5D1 original location was, as the rocks don't seem as fitting to sustain a cache anymore. The new location keeps the cache out of site, but it is also easy to replace the cache if needed. Please try to replace the cache carefully after you visit it so that it remains undisturbed for those who visit after you!

While Comstock Park landscape has changed over the years, and the original location will not sustain a cache placement anymore, this cache is placed with the intent to resemble "Comstock Minicache" (GC5D1) placed by Moun10Bike on 03/31/2001.

See also "The Bluff" (GC5DO) placed on the same date.

Thanks Moun10Bike for Spokane's first Geocaches!

Congratulations to MonkeJumper0271 for being First to Find!!
