Here Ye! Hear Ye! The Swamp Rats™ of the Round Table are gathering to celebrate the 1st Birthday Quest of our newest Swamp Rat™!
Please join us for a fun filled day of celebrating, hiking, wading, and mucking, in SWFWMD's Cypress Creek Wellfields. M&M Melted & WW.Wilma are joining forces for this celebration so be prepared for fun, caches and a post-celebration swamp hike. Your hosts will provide almost nothing, so come prepared for the worst and expect it.
As always, we are counting on the Rats™🐀 attending to provide an assortment of refreshments enabling all to stumble incoherently back to the trailhead.
The hike in will be a mile or so, mostly along the trails of the Cypress Creek Wellfields. The event site is located approx 250' off of a two-track trail. The post-event hike will be mostly off- trail. Come prepared with proper attire, shoes, bug spray, water and provisions.
Your hosts will be at the listed parking coordinates at 9AM for those who want to join us on a guided hike to the event. We will stop off at a bunch of caches, both old and new, along the way.
