Meet between 1-1:30pm at the posted coordinates, next to a gazebo in Silverdale Waterfront Park. At 1:30, those who wish may go for a ride on the Clear Creek Trail
The 61st in a series of events along the many mostly flat, mostly paved biking/walking trails in the Seattle area. The Clear Creek Trail is a mixture of paved and unpaved sections, with a few road connections to stitch together the disconnected bits of trail. We'll probably end up riding every section of the trail that I can pick out, including parallel sections on both sides of the creek and various spurs.
Per geocaching.com event guidelines, the actual 'event' is the meet-up from 1-1:30pm at the posted coordinates, at Silverdale Waterfront Park
This event is outdoors, but I will only cancel this event if the weather is terrible: heavy rain, lightning/thunder, snow or ice. Bring a waterproof layer if it might rain.
If you choose to ride, please show up well before 1:30 so we can leave on time. Check your brakes and air beforehand.
Participants in the optional bicycle ride hold harmless the cache owner/event organizer and assume all risks and responsibilties involved in riding a bicycle on trails and streets. Wear a helmet, dress in layers, and bring a spare tube.
