Rest your feet and enjoy the view. Brook Green is so named because of the small river that runs along it. Only you can't see the river anymore because the Victorian's used it as a sewer and covered it up. As you walk back towards the main road take note of the tall green structure. It is called a stink pipe and it is there to vent the sewer gasses out and prevent them exploding. The river is directly underneath.
