Located in Grayton Beach State Park, this cache gives you the opportunity to walk along some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Expect a round-trip walk of about 1 mile, mostly in that wonderful white sand; the good news is the terrain is fairly level.
Please respect the environment while hunting for this cache. This hunt requires NO bush-whacking. The cache is only 3 feet off a park trail.
From the east end of the parking lot closest to the beach, enter either the dune or forest trail (at the start they are both the same trail). This is the easiest way to find the cache -- you can walk along the beach on the return to your car. Continue on the trails until you get to the cache site.
The cache is a custom camo ammo can. It contains a variety of trading items, plus a logbook.
Note: because the cache is so close to the trail, we hid it very well. It is NOT buried, however.
