Punta Arenas is a vibrant, culturally rich city located in the Magallanes and Chilean Antarctica region. It serves as a gateway to Patagonia and some of the most impressive landscapes in the world. I was fortunate to visit this lovely area a few years ago (I loved the penguins!) and am thrilled to return. This time I decided to add to my fun by hosting an event to meet local or visiting geocachers.
All geocachers (and people interested in learning about geocaching) are invited to join me for a short midday gathering near the distinctive portside Reloj Del Estrecho (strait clock). The clock is worth a look (inside and out) and highlights a convenient public place to meet and discuss geocaching tips and adventures. I hope to see you there!
