I spotted a Mystery Fizzy Challenge a while back and thought it would be a breeze. Mystery caches are my preferred find type, so I was surprised to find out how far I had to go and how slow my progress was. In particular, I had almost no low difficulty, high terrain puzzles. A search in Washington state showed why: just three in the state with difficulty 1.0 and terrain over 2.0!
Well, I can't help myself, but I can help others! I decided to create a series of difficulty 1.0 puzzles ranging from terrain 2.0 to terrain 5.0 so you'll have a chance to fill those fizzy squares with mystery caches. And as a bonus, these are puzzles that kids might have fun with!
Welcome to the Mystery Fizzy Support Series!
Geocaching can take you on adventures to all sorts of places here in Washington state, both urban and not so urban. Those exploring the mountains and forests of western Washington know to protect their food from wildlife by either stashing it in a bear-proof canister or hanging it from a tree branch with a bear line (plenty high, far from the trunk, and several feet below the branch). The risk goes beyond losing your breakfast - bears that learn they can get food from hikers and campers are more likely to come near them - dangerous for us, but ultimately more so for the bear.
This is also likely the reason you aren't supposed to put food into geocaches. Even if not, it's a great reason to follow that rule. Over the winter I came across a cache that had been destroyed. It looked like somebody left a smellable in it - consider that fragrances we put into all sorts of products may smell like food - and some animal took an interest. Well, cache destruction is no small matter! So of course I had the rangers round up some locals as well as some visitors I thought were just a little bit sus. Can you pick the culprit from this lineup?

For bonus points, send me a message with your guess after signing the log.
The coordinates may not be as precise as I would like, but once you're in the right area, the cache should be quite easy to spot. It's a bit off the maintained trail so please choose your steps carefully to avoid creating a geotrail. Feel free to message me the coordinates you read at the final and I'll see if there's any concensus after I receive a few.
The park is open dawn to dusk. Don't get your car trapped behind the barrier!
