This multi cache was inspired by the iconic fantasy trilogy of J.R.R. Tolkien - Lord Of The Rings.
The original trilogy cosists of three books - Fellowship of the ring, The two towers, Return of the king.
In this story, Middle Earth and its inhabitants (humans, elves, hobbits, dwarfs, animals, walking-talking trees and more) is under a threat posed by the dark lord together with the evil wizard and their legions. The dark lord Sauron lost the One Ring ages ago in a war to the king Isildur who lost it himself too. Sauron, now only an all seeing fire-eye, sends his forces to look for the One Ring. Frodo the hobbit carries that ring. The journey starts from the hobbit's land "The Shire". With his companions of different races, including Gandalf the wizard, Frodo's mission is to destroy that ring of power, which tries to lure anyone near it towards violence, greed and a power-trip.

Posted coordinates will bring you to Dizengoff Circle. Final location is elsewhere. In order to find the cache, you will need to pass through all stages, collect clues, crack field puzzles, and solve mysteries. It is recommended, just like in the books, to assemble a group/fellowship to overcome the hardships of the quest together.
Note - Opening hours - Book 2 of the quest is not open 24/7. I visited saturday and the place is open. So opening hours should be about 7AM to late at night all week long (the published opening hours are not correct).
Lord of the caches:
These are dark times in Middle Tel Aviv. The Lord of the Caches, streghtening his hold on the city, hid another difficult cache, protected by stages, mysteries and magical hidden coordinates. In order to free Middle Tel Aviv from the shdows of evil, your mission is to complete the journey, pass through all stages, solve the puzzles, and find the treasure-cache. You shall navigate through alleys and dungeons, visit landmarks and giant statues, encounter wizards, brave warriors, strange creatures and ancient trees, and even search the world for legendary figures such as Tom Hanks. Beware of the many temptations the city has to offer, in particular culinary ones, which can hinder your progress.
Book 1 - Fellowship of the Cache:
Stage 1 - The rings:
"One ring to rule them all, one ring to find them, One ring to bring them all, and in the darkness bind them". In the original story, there were 9 other rings connected to the One Ring.
At posted coordinates, you are already within a ring (Dizengoff Circle).
In its center there is a dragon-like mythological being of water and fire, made of rings. Its "lord of the rings" or creator is the artist/wizard Yaakov Agam. In the old days, people from all over the land came to see its show of spitting water and roaring fire. Unfortunateoy, after rennovations of the place, the magical being was returned without its bright colors, and is now but a shadow of the fearsome beast it used to be. This is another sympton of the darkness that was cast on Middle Tel Aviv.
Around Dizengoff Circle there are numerous streets. Look towards the inventor of Esperanto (which could have been a great language for Lord Of The Rings), spot the big cats.

Stage 2 - Talking tree:
There are magical talking trees in Tel Aviv. These ancient ficus trees have seen much through the centuries and are the keepers of memory. It is said that at night they come alive and wander through the streets, but it is probably just an urban legend.
Dizengoff Street is the famous historic shopping street of Middle Tel Aviv, with its many showcase windows.
From posted coordinates walk north on Dizengoff Street east shores. Look carefully until you see a dalmation dog with dots above one of the shoecase windows. Near the dog there is an old tree which tells the story of a horrible and tragic event that happened here in the past millenium.

Stage 3 - The Wizard of Balls:
In a hidden corner is the abode of "The Wizard", famous for his falafel balls. Well, it does take some kind of magic to make egg+eggplant+pita cost 35 shekels..
So try to avoid encountering this wizard face to face, and go to the place from which this photo below was taken, in the shadow of another anceint tree. (If you don't know where this wizard is or how to look for him, ask a local and show them the photo)
