Geocache Description:

Meet up and Geochat! - 26th February 2025 at the George Hotel, Market Place, Easingwold.

*Event Start time now 6:30pm in the Snug

This is my second event, I know, I should do more! ... Meet up and chat with fellow cachers and bring a long maybe a newbie and introduce them, don't forget the fresh new lab caches that were put on on the 22nd Jan this year by myself with of course a bit of help hehe :)

The event is 6:30 pm* till 8pm at the George. Dog Friendly,  Feel free to pm me if any queries. :)

We have reserved the snug area of the bar which when you come in is to the right of the bar area in the side room at the front of the building. The serve food, drink and accommodation if people are wanting thing. The George's website is: The George Hotel, Easingwold (let me know if the link doesn't work).  They normally serve food after 5:30pm.  (The venue has confirmed booking)

So don't forget to bring your tbs with you to swap, discover, grab, trade etc!

Disabled Cachers:

Due to Rae doing Disability Access Reviews, she thought she would add a bit to help fellow disabled/hidden disabilities cachers...:

Wheelchair/mobility aid and hidden disability cachers: You can get in if you are a wheelchair user or have low mobility via the rear entrance over the road from the memorial park on back lane.  The back entrance leads up to a door towards the rear of the pub where some accommodation rooms are, along with the disabled toilet in the back area which is to the left before you go in.  There are then two doors that you will get a wheelchair through (Myself and my friends have tried it with a power chair and also a walking frame).  This leads you into the main "green court yard area" (which Rae does like") then you would have to go through the bar then to the snug which would be on your left hand side past the bar. The snug area might have a little ledge getting up to it, the front entrance has a step and porch area. The staff are friendly but it can be noisy and crowded as the evening gets on.  Any questions let me know.  For Disability access reviews see www.euansguide.com I think they might have the George on not sure, I've yet to do one! Any questions let me know.

See you there! :)
